This vehicle stopped and wont start, save for running for about 4 seconds and then cutting out.

My local garage charged £250.00 to not find the problem.They seem to think its a ecu problem and sent it off to a company who said they were unable to test this type of ecu but could supply me with a new one for £500+.

I had the ecu back and sent it to the ECU Doctor in Plympton.He says he is unable to test this type of ecu but can supply me with a new one for £300+.

The problem is that I'm not convinced its the ECU.

Could it be a fault in the pressure sensor on the common rail?

Any ideas would be appreciated............
