Can anyone give an account (good/bad) of dealings with the Availablecar.com car supermarket near Castle Donnington?

Thanks.

Hi,
I brough a car from there a few years ago. It was called something different then tough (The car supermarket I think), but I believe it is still owned by the same people.
I brought a Rover 214, and on the drive home, the car died! Engine, lights, power steering everything. I took the car back the next day and told them what, happened. They couldn't have been more helpful. I got a curtesy car, and they promised to get it sorted. It took them about a week to find the problem though(a knackered ECU). But it was all fixed with absoutley no cost to me. They even filled the curtsey car up with fuel. I also found the sales guys VERY polite and helpful.
I think there prices seem a little on the high side nowadays.
Also, the origional company employed a lot of Sandicliffe of Loughborough people. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though!

Hi,
I can only say great things about AvailableCar. I bought a used ford car from them about a year ago and the service was really first rate and deal was great- there was none of that standard pushy sales pitch stuff, just straightforward and honest. I got a great AA guarantee and a weeks free insurance, so I was able to sort myself out insurance later. They've got a good website at www.availablecar.com as well.

They're not alone in doing this, but I hate the way they show saving against new.

It's completely irrelevant on a used car, and it actually makes some the newer cars they list look quite expensive as they're not that much cheaper than new list.
