Saab 9-3 sport vs Vectra

Saab 9-3 sport vs Vectra - flatfour
Why should i spend £20 000 on a Saab when the Vectra is sharing the same chassis? Does it share the same engine and gearbox's?

Because it doesn't share the same 'software'. Saab was involved in the development of the Vectra platform to the point where it was able to specify variations on hardpoints which would suit its own drivetrain and chassis settings. So a 9-3 doesn't drive like a Vectra, especially at the limit.

Interior is completely different too.

If you believe in differences between a Golf, Audi TT, Skoda Octavia and whichever Seat uses the same platform, gearboxes, engines and suspension systems you'll know what I mean.

Same heritage, different animals.
