Int. or Ext. - Which is Key for Retaining Value? - Josh Fisher

This is my first post so I do apologise if it's in the incorrect section.

My question is: when maintaining and taking care of your vehicle, which has more weight on its value later down the line? Taking care of the interior, or taking care of the exterior aesthetic?

Obviously it is important to take care of both in order to help your car retain its value, but which has more impact on this?

You've missed out the third, equally critical item : the mechanicals !

If a car looked really tidy on the outside, but had ripped, torn, fag-burned trim I wouldn't touch it. Same if it was immaculate inside, but loads of dents and scrapes on the outside. Because in either case, it shows an owner that doesn't care about their car
