106 1.5 d noise? - misterp
start engine, engage clutch slightly, squeeling/chirruping noise. doesent seem to be accellerating as well in 1st/2nd last few weeks.any suggestions appreciated

The noise when you engage the clutch sounds like a worn thrust bearing to me.

Put your handbrake hard on. Start the car, and using a light accelerator, put the car in second gear and slowly lift the clutch. If the engine doesn't stall, it's probably time for a new clutch.
