Mazda 3 - Mazda 3 1.6 2012 - Strange Noise at Low Speed - Matthew Cresswell

i There,

I have a 2012 Mazda 3 and for the past week it has been making a strange noise at low speed. If I am accelerating from standstill in traffic it will make it after I’ve fully disengaged the clutch, or sometimes when I am just idling in 1st gear in slow moving traffic it will make the noise.
Not sure weather its my front breaks rubbings perhaps, or something to do with my clutch?
Any idea?
As soon as I get past 10mph it goes.

This is a best get it checked by a mechanic situation.

You'll likley never get anything unless a lucky guess with what you've posted.

Or unlucky shot's in the dark.

99.99% likelihood it's your brakes rubbing. Sticky rear callipers are quite common on these but even more common is rusty discs, mostly the rears which see very little use day to day so they corrode and rub a little. Take it in to a trusted garage (they're likely 5yrs old anyway) or just try braking hard a few times in a safe place when there's no traffic around to see if it clears.
