JVC stereo faceplate issue - Josh Brice
Hi all,

I bought a Vauxhall Corsa in December which had a JVC stereo fitted.

I've gone to take the faceplate off and found that it just won't come free. It's definitely a detachable one as it says so in the manual. Pushing the release button and trying to slide it over to the left does nothing.

Is there something I'm missing? Many thanks.

Off the top of my head I can't remember the exact model number however if it's needed I can and provide it. Cheers!

It may have a detachable front,but on some models there is an option to make it a permanent fixture by additional securing screws.I think you will need to remove the radio from the dash to check.

It's screwed in on the left hand side, you'll need to remove the stereo.
