New Focus diesel

New Focus diesel - davo
Have just read a test in WhatCar about the new Focus diesel. Apparantley it churns out 98bhp. Is there a reason for this because, as I understand it, the other engines churn out more, which would then mean that this is a step backwards?

There is now a 100PS version as well as 115PS. This was introduced for marketing reasons. Likewise there is a 115PS Mondeo as well as 130PS.

Not very good IMO, in fact I would go far as to say load of crap, had a new "Mondaino" TDCI diesel the other day as a hire car, would it start would it hell. Load of rubbish. Nearly made me late for a meeting, left it for dead outside my house, ended up using my ultra reliable V70 D5 and claiming 40p a mile. Not happy!
