Ford Fiesta SPORT TDCI (panel van type) - Cant get an valuation for car online?? - Jamie Costello

Hi Guys,

I've seen a little Ford Fiesta SPORT TDCI (panel van type) 63 reg I'd like to buy from an established independent dealer in my local area. However when I put the registration into any car valuation website it knows its a fiesta but can't bring back any form of valuation. I've tried it on about 4 different ones. On the FAQ for why an valuation might not of come back it said it might be imported.

This is worrying me a little bit,

What do you guys think?

As far as I'm aware, the valuation sites do not do well with vans - they are set up for cars.

I'd suspect that is the reason, rather than something more nefarious

Try Parker's guide. Does want your e-mail address online so didn't follow through valuation for you. Fed up with e-mails from Amazon, EvilBay, Monster, etc...

All the values the on line valuation sites quote depend on what similar models sell for at auction If you have a rare vehicle it follows they simply won't have enough information on which to base a value.
