I bought this car in May 2011, from the main dealer. it was 12 months old. I have had numerous problems with the car, and repairs etc, have been done under the 5 year warranty.

The car had done about 57K miles, in April 2010, when I found that the car would not start on one crank of the engine from cold, say about 12 deg. C.

I took it to the dealership, and they replaced all the glow plugs under warranty. as the glow plugs were from new, they had difficulty getting them out and they had an engine specialist take the glow plugs out. The car was off the road for about 3 weeks, and they gave me a free loan car.

As I did not drive the car often, especially from first thing in the morning, I am not sure if the problem had been sorted.

In January 2016 with about another 5k miles on the clock, I found that I encounted the same starting problem, again

I took it to the dealership, and that they car needed new glowplugs again. I decided to have them fitted at another garage, but NOT Hyundai make, but a better quality make.It cost £200.

I again took the car into the dealership again, and left it there overnight, the, car was about 10 months older since replacing the first set of glow plugs, and an extra 5K miles on the clock.

I found this comment rather unusual, for the glow plugs to go again in such a short space of time. The dealersip said that as I hadn't paid for the original glow plugs, these new glow plugs did NOT come with any warranty.

The problen was not resolved. I took it to the dealership agin, and left the car with them for about 10 days. They gave me a loan car free of charge.

They eventually phoned, and told me that my car had been sorted, and that the glow plug fuse had blown, even though when starting the glow plug light on the dash came on, again.

I found this to be unusual. I asked them about the second fitting of the glowplugs and were adament that they were at fault and required replacing.

Has anyone have any comments to make, either about the second fitting of the glow plug in a short space of time, and the length of time taken to find that this was a fuse fault? There was no warranty on the second time they were replaced ? Or anthing else thay comes to mind?
