2002 Nissan X Trail 2.2dci - Starter motor issue? - NewForestSaint
After regular daily use attempted to start car - starter did not turn and dashboard lights faded while attempting to start vehicle- battery appears fine - lights / radio all ok but engine not attempting to start at all- any thoughts gratefully received!

Lights and radio need tiny power in comparison to starting.

Sounds like the battery is dying or at least nearly discharged. Try charging it. Better still have it tested.

Have you at least checked all cable connection points throughout the circuit?
