2013 Honda CR-V - Spare Key - stroller

Keys and I are not friends.

For my 2004 Jazz I've put my spare key in a weather proof pouch that has a metal backing and located the pouch to the body of the Jazz by means of strong magnet (sourced from a broken microwave oven).

The CR-Vs key is somewhat more sophisticated.

The question is: Could the key's operations in any way be corrupted by magnetic fields?

Unlikely,but you never know.I wrap my spare key in plasic pouch and cable tie it to something just above the plastic splash guard.
