Thinking of looking on Ikea / DFS websites for car advice, not much room on here with all the furniture ads !!!

well put, the idiot spammer has had a field day today.

Wish it was like it is in the films where some savvy nerd (who happens to be blessed with film star looks, can outfight Jason Strathan and women/men fall at their feet) sends an online spike utterly destroying the spammers hard drives...get your cape on Avant.:-)

Someone with an old dial-up modem and unlimited calls could perhaps try to connect to their phone number.. on auto-redial.. non stop.. forever..

Or better still, give their phone number (if its real for them and not just nicked off a genuine business or person) to another scammer who can call them every day as they post here. Turnabout is fair play, after all...

Car or Furniture?

Victorian furniture every time, Oak, Walnut or Mahogony, I see it, I like it, I buy it, simples, with some consideration of value, i.e. avoid the small stuff that everyone can buy and focus on the proper Victorian-man-sized stuff!, and then build a house around the furniture!

I dont like all of it, but I know what I like, instantly.

Cars, on the other hand, I proper torture myself swithering over, spending years deciding before finally committing.

Odd perhaps, but entirely true.

I had a new k****** fitted to my dormobile recently, however I found that the water tank had been overfilled by 10mm.The performance of the van is now down and fuel consumption has been affected. Also when I go round a corner or over a speed hump,I can hear the cupboards creaking.Do you think the chassis has been damaged by fitting longer screws.Another thing, when I move the passenger seat forward, there is a big box of electrical wires with markings for pump, shower, fridge and battery charge.Do I need all these or can I remove it all to make the van lighter?Lastly, when I go away,do I need to take the locking wheel nut key with me ,as I usually keep it in the cutlery draw at home, for security .Merry xmas everyone using this forum!
