2005 Fiat Panda 1.2 - Electrical gremlins - Manatee

My son's Pand started playing up last night.

Turning on the indicators turned off the lights and wipers.

Given all the rain we have had, I'm inclined to think "water ingress".

Any ideas as to where to look for this, or other suggestions, welcome.

Check earth points for poor connections behind the front lights and on the wiper motor. Also check the main chassis earth to the battery.

Check battery>body>starter earth lead - prone to failure on one of the many crimped ends especially where if fastens to the body. Combination of vibration and oxidation breaks it eventually

Also - check for water ingress into the fuse box

Sorry but this is going to be vague,
I seem to recall a fault involving multi plug connectors under the front carpets and water ingress.
Like I stated vague.
but it might help.
