Seat Alea - loosing water - Roscommoner

I check the water regularly, last night I was travelling on the Mway the beep from the dash said low on water. I stopped and it was almost empty, I filled it up and waited to be checked all was fine and I carried on. 20 miles or so later it happened again. No one can find a leak the water pump and cam belt was replaced 2 years ago. There is no leaking underneath and garage said it's not the head casket

You have not detailed the engine. But if it has a EGR valve then that mey be your problem as some a re water cooled and in may be leaking water into the exhaust. Regards Peter

Look for excess steam from the exhaust. Regards Peter

Also check for signs of coolant leakage around the filler cap, you could have a leaking head gasket forcing the coolant out.
