I would not want to risk such a high current on a usb connection?

The ad shows spring clip cables for "jump starting", the USB output will be for phone charging etc.

I personally cannot believe a battery that size would jump start anything bigger than a Tonka toy: for the alleged price of £99 you could buy a proper professional booster pack (or two of the Aldi packs, such as I bought this year)

Either way I wouldnt trust it,I know battery tech is coming on in leaps and bounds, but I think thats asking too much from a small bat

I bet it wouldn't start my diesel car with a flat battery. The manufacturer states it has a 6000mAh (6Ah) battery with 300amp at 12 volt max, It's not going to be giving 300 amps for long. If you car doesn't start immediately it'll be flat in no time.

Used my friends about a month ago after I left my lights on in my Nissan Almera tino 1.8. The battery was completely dead, it worked though!!

I was sceptical, telling him no chance that will jump start any car let alone mine! I was wrong.

If you check reviews etc, they seem very favourable. Was going to get one, but still too pricey for me.

Charger - kiss (keep it simple)

In theory it could work if the car battery is not completely dead. What it needs to do is charge up the battery ("in seconds" is a bit optimistic) until it has enough energy stored to start the car. 6Ah is plenty to put enough charge into a car battery to achieve this. However if the car battery is totally dead it will probably need more than 6AH to revive it. I replaced a battery in an old Fiesta many years ago and measured its capacity at about 4Ah. It could still just about start the car, but if you left the sidelights on for an hour it was dead.
