Clio Campus 06 model - ABS ring - cliolady
Hi all, this is my third clio and will be my 5th ABS issue.

Previous 4 have been repaired under warranty so I've no idea of cost to replace.

I suppose I'm asking whether there could be any nasty surprises other than the actual ABS ring.

Its the nearside one that's the issue - I've got wear to the outer rim of tyre too - its only done 4k and was changed at same time as offside tyre.

MOT in march - ball joints and all pads and disks done then.

Car is booked in tomorrow for diagnostic - any idea of labour charge and what kind of things I should be prepared for??

Ive read that the CV joint might need replacing??

maybe a camber setup issue or simply to many roundabouts. You would know if the ball joints had gone as you get a load clicking noise on tight turns

I suppose it could be an abs control unit fault as a worst case. There are firms around who repair rather than you having to fork out for a new one from Renault.

Im told its the offside front anti roll link, abs ring, 2x front tyres, 2x track rod ends.

The car has only done 45k but its almost 10 years old - am hoping this is it and it gets through next MOT bill free!
