This whole car computerisation business does not seem to have been thought through properly by the car companies or the makers of diagnostic equipment and it isn't something that the man in the street can fix himself.

All the time they use any software there will always be hackers. It's a never ending circle

As a matter of interest TPS is actually hackable using a bluetooth transmitter receiver on a laptop which can (as far as I know) gain access to the ecu and control the car via TPS

Now how many people would believe that could be done let alone even thought of, but I suppose as with any software hacking, some people have nothing better to do with their lives
