Hello

I sometimes turn the key the car wont start not even any cranking noise. I turn key and thats it car wont start ( no noise). If I press the gas pedal it starts sometimes but this does not always work. Can someone advise me what the problem may be and any solution to it. It happened during the winter last year and has now started again. AA guy told me last year that when rev is above 1000 and you turn off engine , system needs clearing up.
