all - Manufacturers attitude to security - Bolt

Its up to the manufacturers of the transmission units installed in vehicle to sort out software bugs, but as said before there will never be a perfectly secure transmission system

Like mobile phone security there are people that try to find the leaks in the software so they can be secured, but there will always be someone out there that finds a hole thats been missed

The more secure they make them the more some try to hack

I believe an apt quotation is "the more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to block up the drain".
