I was bumped by a taxi but very little cosmetic damage to rear bumper - just a scratch and paint chipped. I took it to 2 body shops and they both recommended getting new rear impact bar / cross member but i have since removed bumper myself and didnt appear that mechanics had removed it to check behind.

Literally no damage to impact bar, just a tiny dent that is not visible and only obvious if you run your hand along bar.

Should i get it replaced or is it okay with very small dent in it?
