Undoubtedly it's a clever piece of design and looks to be nicely finished, but it's bound to be a compromise in the same ways as amphibious cars tend to be.

As a car, less capable and efficient than a normal 2-seat sports car and...

As a plane, less capable and efficient than a normal 2-seat light plane..

And probably a lot more expensive too.

It's a bit like having a pair of scissors that you can write with because they have a ball-point pen bilt into one of the blades!

I feel the same way. Nevertheless, I really like the look of the thing.

I find the idea of people flying them in the air above us pretty appalling. At least you can get away from road traffic noise to some extent. I feel sorry for anyone who lives near any place where aircraft are regularly taking off and landing.

I agree, it does look a like a nicely built and engineered thing.
