Questions and answers in today's Telegraph Cars - Trilogy

There wasn't an HJ queries/answers section in today's Telegraph. Just wondering if anyone else noticed?

Yes - happens once or twice a year, usually coinciding with a big feature they want to push (March Festival Speed I think it was today??)

for the past few years, there have been a couple of weeks every year when the 'Cars' section looks more like a pull-out from the Goodwood Festival of Speed programme than the Saturday Telegraph

On those occasions I usually can't find anything worth reading -this time the Moss/Jenkinson/Mille Miglia was interesting, but not anything that hasn't been said before

Saturday's DT Motoring section started to get (IMHO) more and more out of touch with day to day real life motoring, with the exception of HJ's section.

So instead of spending two quid on reading more and more smug reports about vehicles that will still probably be out of reach of many people in three years time, I read HJ's great online version on this very site - I think this is the link to last Saturday's

Questions and answers in today's Telegraph Cars - meldrew

I normally get free paper with the shopping. Having said that HJ's erudite opinions leave me wondering whether or not it will ever be safe to spend money on a car ever again. They ALL seem to have something that will cost you an arm and a leg the minute you take them on to the road!

What a dissapointment to find no HJ questions and answers in last weekend s Telegraph.

The whole paper became a complate bore to me but my girlfriend insists on buying it as she like the format of the TV guide.

But HJ only gets a chance to answer a few questions so who are the other motoring team.

Is it time for HJ to move across to another paper who appreciates his brilliance and what a huge following he has.

After all who did Dom Little wood turn to on tv to solve the mystery of the Ford Focus cluthes melting after 6000 miles ?

Time for HJ to change allegiance along the lines of Top Gear and Im sure his diciples will follow !
