I did not see, or perhaps understand the percentage total of foreign trucks against British trucks, perhaps 60% of accidents involving trucks were foreign and the rest british?

any clues

Lies, D* Lies and statistics is all I can say. Know idea how big the issue really is other to say that further down the report the company handled 110,000 clain between 2012 ans 2014 which is 36,000 a year of which less than a 1000 as foreign trucks?

For sure truck entering the country should register insurance details and pay to use UK roads, but this is an advert and nothing else

I'm guessing the amount of foreign registered HGVs on the road has also increased over the period they're quoting due to the booming economy and also more companies using foreign haulage companies to reduce costs

Probably the remaining 40% of british trucks that were involved in accidents were also driven by foreign truck drivers. One of the UK's largest supermarkets were very keen to employ eastern European truck drivers (and I use the term truck drivers loosely). These eastern European drivers have never sat the same test that GB and myself did, instead some of them were awarded these licenses for driving farm tractors and others just bought a licence without having ever sat in a real lorry in their life.

When said supermarkets accident damage in one depot went up by about £27,000 a month I think it should have been ringing alarms bells but, it didn't.
