BMW 1 series M sport 118 2011 model - Front Tyres - samsung

I need new tyres and have tried BMW main agents and none are available in the country. The size is 215/40/R18/85Y. The original make was Bridgstone but they are no longer making this size. I have been told that Dunlop will be making some but they will not be available until June 6th at the earliest and lots are on back order for main agents. I phoned BMW customer services and they said they were not aware of any shortage. I have also tried local tyre dealers and on line only companies. What worries me is if a tyre is punctured and not drivable then how can a replacement be supplied if there is no stock available. Can I fit 225/40/18 which are readily available?

The rears which are 245/35/R18 88y are stocked and available but I need 4 tyres from the same manufacturer. Any sugestions?

Pirelli's only, the cheaper ones listed are older stock as noted, don't know if these are of any use to you....beg your pardon , the only Y rated are Dunlops.

I've bought from Tyreleader several times now and is my preferred supplier, sent from Germany usually arrive within 4 working days.

Presumably its runflats you need, shocking price.
