Skoda Octavia 2009 - Cost To Replace Drivers Seat Belt ? - Glaikit Wee Scunner {P}

My driver's seat belt has frayed at the buckle about 1/4" of the 'across' thread seems to have suddenly gone. How much is it likely to cost to replace the belt? Just so I am primed for the main dealers quotes and any others I get.

Disappointed as the car has done less than 80000 miles in 6 years and this did not happen with my Passat which I owned up to 140,000 miles.

I would think the belt is at least £150 as it contains a pyrotechnic charge for the tensioner system.I would guess about 1 hour labour.Some of these belts need to be programmed into the airbag system which would add a cost.Possibly not on this year of car.

Thanks for that. Will try to get it done at MOT time as I can not face two trips to the main dealer.
