Fiat punto grande van 2008 - Electrical problem - Mayland

I have only had my van for 2 weeks and started having problems with electric window, it was fine in the morning then in afternoon it wouldn't work the tried to start van with no joy, a hour later the window went down and the van decided to start took it back to garage and same thing happened to them just wondered if anyone has had same problem and if it's major problem as garage said they can't find fault
