Hello

Not sure if anyone can help with this, but thought I would give it a shot.

My missus bought above car a few weeks back. The radio/cd player will not pick up any radio staions on any frequency. CD is fine. White noise comes out of speakers when manually trying to tune. Once, she reckons she could hear Clasic FM away in the distance. But that could be the missus!

Removed unit. Original factory ariel lead plugged into back. Checked base of ariel behind interior light. Checked ariel. All fine.

Plugged a separate ariel into back of unit after buying the right adapter. Still no reception.

Can't think of anything left to try. It must be the unit. Is this a known fault with these things? A 6000CD RDS model.

If there is no reception with a donor antenna ,then the radio is at fault.Not a common fault,but have seen it before.
