Best Transit engine etc. between 2001 & 2008? - gbarter2015

Hi there again!

I've pretty much decided on getting a Transit to fulfill my needs as a family/work vehical. I'm just looking for advice on which is the SWB low roof Transit for reliability?

I know a good service history and something that has been hopefully care for, I'm looking either at a MK 6 or MK7, plus I'll be pulling a small light caravan.

Thanks guys, I'd thought I'd ask here as I'm a member rather than sign up for another forum site!

Please be aware you may be mistaken for one of the travelling community!

Could be useful in some circumstances...but not in others.

Yer I've been made aware of this, my way to combat would be to dresss up the van to look like a campervan. A few designs down the side and a couple of windows I'm hoping should do the biz. Also if im lucky enough I might be able to find a non-white van!

And most travellers seem to be driving expensive vans and top end caravans, so that's us way out!
