hey peeps,

Car is up for mot/service soon.

I was thinking of using mot angel plan with the pass guarantee.

Anybody used this service before??

Just Googled it, read the details twice and still aren't sure what the Angel MOT Plan actually is. That for me is enough reason to avoid it.

The website also fails to give any company details. company number, address, etc etc.

Definately avoid.

I agree with previous comments also the site has an "As Seen in" section running along the bottom and HJ name and logo appears. However I can't see any mention on HJ - apart from this chain. If I wasn't such a trusting person I might see this as odd. No doubt Avant will be along in due course to clarify or lock...........

Interestingly a very similar thread has just been started on Money Saving Expert Forum as well today.

The company website breaches guidelines in that there is no contact address

And if you are giving contact details and details of your car can you expect your details to be shared. For things like this if, And I repeat If it s not totally ok the expect spam in all its forms. We have noticed that we are currently being subjected to a"fishing" exercise, and naturally we are not biting!

If it was an attempt to get a free advert, it's failed, because of all the rightly sceptical comments. The OP didn't put in a link, and I'd have deleted it if he had.
