ford escort 55 diesel van - how do i tension my alternator belt - white-van-man

HI , does any one know how to tension a alternator belt on a 2001 escort 55 naturally aspirated van, please .

It does have power steering but not aircon.

Any help with diagrams would be most welcome ,or can any one tell me where i can download a free copy of the haynes workshop manual for my vehicle ,Please.

I did an extensive search some time back for online car manuals and I'm pretty certain that Haynes have not allowed their stuff to be published online - not that I blame them.
