Hi,

Following disconnection of the battery the external temperature display now flahes OE, how do I reset this so it works again?

Is this L200 the old classic shape or the new shape?

I guess it is the old shape. The display is in the middle of the compass, which is part of three display units in the middle of the dash

That is an error message. Either the temp is above 70C, below -30C, or the thermo sensor is faulty. (this is going from the handbook, we've got a Shogun Sport, which is essentially the same vehicle).

Alternatively, try disconnecting the battery again for 10 minutes, and see if the sensor starts working again.
