hi just bought a vectra 1.9 cdti 8 valve and temp guage doesnt work where is sender located and also the outside temp is reading wrong is the sensor in front bumper thanks

There is no dedicated sensor for the temp gauge,it uses the same sensor that is part of the engine control system.The ambient air temp sensor is located down the front of car,behind bumper
yh thanks for replies have changed outside temp sensor and works fine now just going to get stat now , but can you test sensor for coolant temp guage thanks
