Starting with the assumption that there are absolutely no codes
Foreign body preventing the turbocharger shaft from rotating, or restricting high rpm? I know you have checked it, but on re-installation is there something upstream that could re-engage with the compressor blades?
Offhand I cant think of anything else that could have happened, that wouldnt give a fault code. There are some air in fuel scenarios that might not give a code, BTW what are you using to show fault codes?
