Vauxhall Vivaro - Clutch Judder - ElliotDaviesVanMan

Hi Guys,

New to these forums!

Getting an issue with clutch judder on a 2010 Vaxhall Vivaro once warm.

Does this sound like it will need a flywheel & clutch replacement?

Also, being only 4 years old with 50,000 miles and a vauxhall history is this something that vauxhall would warrant?

Look forward to your opinions.

Sounds like it probably will be clutch / DMF, yes.

Do note that clutches/DMFs are not generally covered by warranties, as it's entirely possible to wreck a clutch in 20 minutes. I've seen older drivers pulling away while at the rev limiter, and you can smell burning clutch for 10 minutes after they've gone

all I can tell you is , that i had clutch judder when pulling away . this knocked the clutch bearing out of the fly wheel .

ater purchasing a new bearing we found that the clearance between shaft and bearing is .42mm on diameters.

the shaft from gearbox is like new with grind marks with now ware marks .

the new bearing is new from vauxhall dealer. is this the fault with gearbox and clutch on these vans , i ask my self or is this standard clearance ???

can anyone help

shaft diameter 16.58mm

Bearing Internal diameter 17.01mm
