today i moved my van on site on starting the van i heard a noise so iturned it off.the van would not start again glow plug light came on showing there was a fault.spoke to a friend who said cam sensor i removed the sensor it had no cover on the part that goes into the enging hence the noise when i started it.replaced with a new sensor van started on the key but the noise was still there getting it relayed to a garage i have been told it may have caused the timing to jump hense i wont drive it.would this bit of plastic cause this
