Nissan Almera Tino - Nissan Almera 2.2 DCi Thermostat Location - Bar72

Needing to replace the thermostat on my partners Nissan Almera Tino 2.2 DCi, 54 plate, as the guage and heater ain't working. Cannot seem to find where it is located?

I've added a couple of photo's, if anyone can help, i'd appreciate it

Nissan Almera Tino - Nissan Almera 2.2 DCi Thermostat Location - bathtub tom

I'm not familiar with this engine, but it's usually at the other end of the top hose to the radiator. Looks like that's where it is.
