As there are some of a "puritanical" mindset I'd better make it clear that I don't condone such reprehensible behaviour. That said, on some of the highland roads and in that car its easy to see how such an indiscretion could occur.

How so? he got a 2 grand fine and has to take a test not a course at his own expense.

Own cost or not what on earth is having to take another test going to prove - I'm sure, as with most on this forum, he's capable of driving to the law and Highway Code when required. He's hardly going to repeat such a misdemeanour with an instructor in the car.

Oh, I don't think so. They do such things on T** G*** every programme and it's their image. I think they'd employ him.
