dispatch van 2004 - Dash removal - - deb van driver

as the odometer appears to have stopped working, l am led to belive that this is a simple light replacement, however in trying to access the dash, l have been unable to get the surround off? as it seems to have a fixing on the right hand side that absolutly refuses to come off?

Any suggestions - l had thought that l found an access point to a screw to this part of the dash, but have been unable to get it to work so am not sure if this was correct or not?

Some of these have a hidden screw that is a acessed up the right side of the steering column plastic surround.Use a long screw driver.
