Lets wind the clock forward another 10 years and drivers of electric vehicles will be penalised as their cars cause pollution - just in this case somewhere away from the capital!

Aye, give it a few years and when they discover they've lost all the extra revenue from the polluting vehicles, they'll come up with a new scheme (scam ?) to swell the coffers !

I drive a 12 year old diesel car so guess what I'd do if I was offered £2000 for it : yep, I'd buy a newer diesel car and never darken London's door again.
