fiesta mk6 - auxiliary belt renewal - guitarman1977

Hi

Can someone please give me a link/write up to how to change my aux belt on a 1.4 zetec 2002?

Belt is a little frayed in one place. No squeaking or slipping though.

Am i right that this belt is a stretch fit ?

All help very much appreciated.

Where do i get the tool to stretch the belt ? Does it come with the belt?

If you buy the belt from Ford dealer,it often comes with an installation tool,otherwise you need one like this.www.lasertools.co.uk/items/pdf/Products/4999_Instr...f

We has a new stretch belt fitted at our local Ford dealers. Did it while we waited. Took less than 1/2 an hour, total cost was £44 including the belt and 2 coffees.

Not worth getting my hands dirty.
