Peugeot 307 04 plate - Fault Codes - norfolkmick
Hi,
I'm new to this forum so please excuse any mistakes made.
The next door neighbour has the car above, it has 132k on it,
He reckons it's got very rough and sluggish and has stopped using it.

My first thoughts were either EGR OR DPF, so I plugged in my newly required solus pro ( this was also a case for me to play with it to get some experience)
and it threw up the following codes,
My thoughts pointed to the DPF and additive, but would that also link in the MAFF, Turbo boost sensor & DPF sensor a?

Cheers
Mick

P1445

P1598

A fault with the egr system can cause the other issues with turbo boost and maf functions. They all work in conjunction with each other.

The OP says possible DPF/additive. I'm pretty sure these (of that age) do not have DPFs, though happy to be corrected.

You need a Planet diagnostic. It can tell you far more about the additive system than a generic scanner.

Things to check:

There's additive in the reservoir

That the wiring is sound and clean. Also take out and re-seat the additive fuse.

That the fuel cap sensors are present

Replace glow plugs (needed duing a regen)

If the car is a 110bhp or greater there will be a DPF system on it.

Looking at the mileage I'd bet that the filter is end of life and there's little or no additive in the tank.

P3007 isn't a fault code for the MAF though, they're in the region P0101 - P0104.

As for the EGR valve, I'd probably blank it. Search "EGR Blank" on Peugeotforums.com for guides and advice.

Just to add to this, I think P1704 is a faulty brake switch.
