Check the difference in diameter: www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html If too much, it could also affect handling.

Wont the single size different size wheel affect the ABS (and TC if fitted)??

Also bear in mind a space saving spare wheel is for emergency use only. Not for permanent fitment.

The difference between the manufacturer fit emergency spare and the wheel the OP is proposing to use is very big. The manufacyturer has tested and approved the emergency spare for use on the Astra, the manufacturer has not approved the Corsa wheel for use on the Astra.

This would have an huge impact should the vehicle be involved in an accident when using it. You would almost certainly find that your insurers would say that you have invalidated the fully comp part of your cover plus if the Police were involved and your car was inspected by VOSA you would almost be prosecuted.

Buy the correct wheel and tyre if you want a spare, one that is approved for your Astra.
