Is there a choice, wouldn't consider a car with no history, unless i know and or trust the owner who has self serviced (sometimes way better servicing than dealer).

How many engines has the 850thousand miler been through..;) yes i know it was typo, but seriously with no history it could just as easily have been a security patrols car covering 3000 miles a week for two years and then clocked back.

Hi thats what i thought but for some reason the the age of the 04 is putting me off and the 06 is the midlife face lift model this is the first time i have ever looked at any thing above a thousend and to be honest i prefer the cheaper end of the motoring world but times move on and escorts and sierras and now some sort of collectors items so will have to buy some thing with a nasty ecu witch in my view is the worst thing ever thanks for taking the time to reply

No service history, 85k miles ? As stated, unless you know and trust the previous owner, then don't touch it. You are buying trouble.

Always remember : "If it's cheap, it's cheap for a reason"

Be prepared to take time to find the right one. The Fiesta is a good car and there are lots of them around at all ages and mileages. You can undoubtedly do better for your money than either of the ones you've seen so far.
