Anyone knows why there was a reduction (or increase) in the offset (ET) of Vectra B from 39 to 49? The change seem to have occurred in 1999. All Vectra B post 1999 are with offset 49, while all before 1999 are with offset 39. Has it helped in increasing the tire width? Or handling? Any experience of the biggest tire width used successfully on Vectra B?
