Hi, I've recently noticed what sounds like grinding when depressing the clutch and releasing it, it only happens just when I start to press it down, and then at around the same moment when I release it.

It doesn't make a sound when I'm not on the pedal, neither does it make a sound when fully pressed in, it also only does this when in neutral, if I have a gear selected I don't get the grinding at all.

Also, no noticeable clutch issues either as in its not slipping.

Im in imagining the clutch is on the way out as I've done 100k but I'd be interested in knowing what the issue is?

any suggestions?
