Audi A5 Cabriolet - Audi finance new buyer help needed!! - r7ant

Hi all,

I was after some advice if possible!!! I'm just about to come off my company car scheme and am very green when it comes to dealing with buying a car.

I've been offered two deals and I'm not sure if they are any good or which one to choose and was hoping someone could help?

The deals I have been offered are:

Brand new a5 cab spec edition in glacier white, 4 year PCP with 10k per year mileage. 377.5 per month 5750 deposit, residual of around 12k 6.9% apr

Or

5month old with 4k on the clock ex demonstrator, a5 cab spec edition in glacier white, 4 year PCP, 10k per year mileage, 325 per month 5500 deposit with residual of 11k along with two free services. 9.1? apr This one comes with interior light pack the other is standard.

Any thoughts?

PS. With these pcps do you usually find you have money in the car to trade when the time comes?? They keep saying they will call in three years to do another deal..

4 years at £377 plus deposit. Add up the total and weigh up the mileage restriction and that will give a clearer picture of cost.

If you buy a mid range petrol one through drive the deal you'll get £8,300 off list. Finance it yourself and figure out what it will be worth after 4 years. Audi reckon £11k so say £12k. So thats going to cost you £20k over 4 years.

Your first option will be £24k - £6k deposit plus £18k of payments. Your second option will cost you £21,100.

Typically with PCPs you get a little in your hand at the end but nothing significant.

I'd wait for the NCAP furore to hopefully hit the prices a bit, salesmen hurting to fund their 2 weeks in the sun then push for a proper deal on a new one. would be my choice. Actually no, my choice would be something different but that's not what you asked.
