This is the twin belt like Railroad said, and yes, you will need the locking tool to hold the cams in position. The tool is this one :

No affiliation to me, just an example of what it looks like.
The 'mark' on the crank pulley is a slightly chamfered edge on the rear edge of one of the gear teeth which is set at the 1 O'clock position when number 1 cylinder is at TDC and is aligned to a cast mark on the engine, and the two cam timing pulley holes are lined up nearest to each other at the 3 O'clock for the inlet (left as you look at it) and 9 O'clock (for exhaust cam) positions.
A bit of advice, change the complete timing kit (tensioner and idler rollers) and also the water pump whilst you're there. Don't be tempted to try and save a few quid by just replacing the belt, it will cost you a lot more in the long run when (not if), something fails.
