MG ZT - bonnet release cable broken

MG ZT - bonnet release cable broken - lindabooth

I have a 54 plate mg zt that has a broken bonnet release cable I need to get the bbonnet open to replace the cable...any suggestions would help

I read how to do it on the mg rover forum for a friend, it took us a long time to do it.

I looked on mg rover forum but can only find their explanation about using the opening at the o/s/f wheel arch and pulling on both cables. Unfortunately I have only 1 cable on the car on the nearside the offside has come off completely so it won't budge. If I've missed it on the forum can you tell me what to search under. ... Thank you
