ford mondeo - intermittened missfire - ddjack

Hi

I have a mondeo 2.0 tdci 130 on a 05 plate it has got an intermittened missfire the glowplug light only comes on when you turn the ignition on the missfire is usually when its cold.th not lost any power even when thrashed it dosnt go into limp mode

Can anybody help its dooing my head in

I would start by giving the EGR valve a clean, making sure it doesn't stick & closes fully.

It's a no cost option if you can DIY.

Cleaned egr valve

Stil intermittened missfire on tickover

But on the open road pulls like atrain no glowplug light and no limp mode

Totally baffled
